Setting up Peeler Crab
We are now reaching a bait which a lot of people won't use because of the time involved adding it to a hook. The rewards are well worth the extra effort and cost (around 70p per crab). Peeler crab are loved by many of the more rarer fish and if you're fed up catching mackerel, garfish etc and want to try for bigger and better fish then peeler crab really is a bait worth all the extra hassle. A lot of people like me use combo's which in include peeler in the mix.
First off you remove the legs, claws and shell so it looks something like this:

Setting the Drag on a Lever Drag Fishing Reel
Properly setting the drag on a fishing reel is one of the most important things you can do to insure landing that fish of a lifetime.
On lever drag reels there are two drag settings we need to concern ourselves with, strike drag and full drag. The strike drag setting needs to be high enough to prevent backlash on the reel and below the point where the initial strike force or inertia exceeds the breaking strength of the line.

Use Monofilament or Braided Lines?
Deciding when to use braid or monofilament as a main line might seem intuitive in most cases. But while one pro advocates braid for all bottomfishing, another says it inhibits bites in clear water, even with fluorocarbon leader. One says mono offers more abrasion resistance; another says braid does.

Dahlberg Diver Frog Lures
Frog fishing can be one of the most exciting ways to catch a largemouth and one violent surface strike is pretty much all it takes for an angler to get hooked on the exhilarating topwater technique. The Larry Dahlberg Diver Frog is quite unlike other frogs on the market, and while it does feature a hollow body design it makes use of a bizarre yet effective diving collar that allows the lure to be fished in a variety of different ways both above and below the water line.

Triple Fish International Lines
What I really like about both these products is their affordability. Sure memory could be better, but as mentioned earlier, at just under twelve dollars a spool for a quarter pound spool of Camo-escent, it's just as easy to load up with new line every couple of weeks if you're worried about memory and get the side benefit of brand new spanking line on your reels each time.

FISHING TECHNIQUE : JIGGING
Jigs Fishing with a jig is one of the easier fishing techniques to learn however it is one of the more difficult to truly master and become extremely proficient with it. A jig can be fished 100 different ways and as long as it is in the water there is a good chance that a fish will take interest and bite it. Jigs come in all different sizes with different characteristics designed for specific presentations or situations. The following jigs and associated presentations are some of the most popular styles of fishing a jig for largemouth bass.
SHIMANO BEASTMASTER BX2030 ROD

Inside Shimano Tekota 300 LC
I was impressed with the Tekota internally. The set-plate is incorporated into the frame, which makes for a well aligned reel and also does a pretty good job of sealing the gear-train from any saltwater that spills in via the spool lip. I like the Shimano Calcutta but I think the Tekota is a better concept regarding frame and drive-train layout. Anti-reverse is taken care of by a one-way roller bearing and there is a backup pawl system. Both systems are silent but drive engagement is not automatic when you turn the handle.

Shimano Waxwing Lures
Speed, distance, and power are all important factors in saltwater lure casting. Releasing the lure from the hook-keeper, sliding your way to the bow in 4 foot seas, going 30 knots into a head wind while facing an acre of breaking jumbos in front of you – this is Tuna fishing today. Yes, we are crazy, and no, we don’t skydive. It’s too dangerous. This is the Waxwing mentality.
