Legends are made from strength, performance and endurance, and St. Croix’s all-new Legend Salt offshore rods have no problem living up to their name. Featuring advanced resin and design technologies, the blanks are designed using St. Croix’s proprietary Integrated Poly Curve tooling technology, which results in continuous-curve tapers with no abrupt, weak transition points.
They are infused with revolutionary nanotechnology and 3M Matrix Resin and fitted with Fuji MN saltwater guides with SiC rings, making the new St. Croix Legend Salt line rugged enough to withstand the trials of offshore fishing yet lightweight enough to reduce fatigue and maximize fishing time.
A hard-anodized finish, high-density nylon slick butt and premium EVA foregrip complete the package. These rods will make quick work out of historically wrist-wrenching species like amberjack, snook and tuna. Conventional and spinning series span 612 to 712 feet; rated rods span 15- to 80-pound-class. $330 to $400.
