Ambon Deep Sea Fishing Spots


Ambon is famous for its big yellowfin tuna. Deep water is close wherever you fish, and dropoffs and canyons are within a stone’s throw of shore. Commercial operations are numerous, and the locals traditionally handline for tuna.

Andaman Island Fishing Trips


The Andaman Islands lies 405 miles North West of Phuket, an archipelago of 329 islands belonging to India. After 50 years of virtual isolation from the outside world, the Indian government lifted its restricted access to the islands, and allowed limited environmentally friendly tourism development. It is only since 1993 that the Indian authorities have allowed scuba diving and sport–fishing.

In eastern Indonesia, the peak skipjack fishing season generally range in transitional season I (April, May and June) to the east early in the season. In Maumere (NTT), the peak season occurred in February and November, the west end of the season and late season shift II.
