Shimano Stella Spinning Reel
The Stella spinning reels sets the benchmark in reel design, utilizing the latest design & material technology available today. The use of high grade Super Magnesium material for body & rotor decrease the reel weight and at the same time providing strong rigidity.
The “X”SHIP drive gear has a bigger diameter for easy cranking, thus rotation torque could be reduced by as much as 60% when compared with previous
Stella. Pinion gear & drive shaft support points are redesign to give better support to the spool under load. The combination of all these designs & improvements together with 14 S-ARB bearings resulted in a reel that is light, smooth & strong.
Other improvements includes E.I coating on the spool surface for strong corrosion resistance, Aluminum drag knob for accurate drag setting, Lubrication port for Line Roller, Hard chrome DLC bail assembly reduces line resistance when its being guided back to the line roller during retrieve. This generation Stella is available from 2000 to 4000. The Stella, always in the lead.
