The Simplest, Smallest Lock-down Knot

The "Little 8" is a simple, unique, very low-profile knot used to attach a hook or hardware to mono. Use this knot with 8-pound test or heavier mono - it will produce unsatisfactory results with braid. It may be the simplest, smallest lock-down knot you've ever used.

This knot starts off exactly link a Uni with the making of a uni-loop. Insert the end of the line or leader thru the eye and bring back the tag end at least four inches.
